Getting started is easy:
Funds clear to your trust account in two (2) business days. This means that rent payments will be scheduled only two (2) business days in advance. Funds debited from the tenant’s account after 5PM Monday is settled to your trust account on Wednesday at approximately 2PM. Most Agencies will then reconcile the following morning.
SimpleRent has pre-built automations that notify tenants via email and SMS when they fail to pay, and reattempt to debit the tenant’s nominated account for the previous failed payment. If the tenant fails to pay before their next direct debit, the failed payment will automatically be reattempted in the next week's direct debit run on the same day the rent is due again. We will then attempt the failed payment and the payment due for the week in two separate payments ensuring a higher likelihood of obtaining one week rent.
Yes, tenants have a unique access to SimpleRent and can easily change their tenancy details at any time by clicking the “Edit” button.

You can pay via credit card or automatic debit on bank accounts. A small transaction fee may apply.
With SimpleRent, you can select the rent payment schedule that works for you - weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
The most convenient and hassle-free way to pay your rent is via ‘Set & Forget’ payment. SimpleRent automatically pays your recurring rent directly from your credit card or nominated bank account on your rent’s due date. Now you will never have to worry about forgetting your rent payments
You can check your payment transaction history by logging into your SimpleRent Tenant account and clicking the 'History' button to see your past transactions and payment status.
For 'Set & Forget' payment plan, you can assume that your rent has been paid on the agreed transaction date otherwise you will receive a notification via email and SMS.
For 'Pay Today' payment plan, you will receive payment confirmation via email and SMS on every rent schedule to be processed. Receipting of payments are handled by your real estate agency.
You will receive an email with a pay up now link to catch up with the failed rent payment.
An owing fee will be applied on the next rent payment schedule of $13.90 for tenants on Set & Forget (Direct Debit).
The owing fee will apply to tenants using a bank account or credit card (along with their respective transaction fees).
Simply log in to your SimpleRent tenant account to change your payment date. If you move your payment date, a prorated rent amount will be charged.
