SimpleRent Wins Best Smart Property Platform 2023 - Australia at Ethical Finance Awards 2023

The Ethical Finance Awards by Wealth & Finance International recognises key players in the Finance industry who uphold excellence in their day-to-day business practices while ensuring that those practices are ethical, sustainable, and eco-friendly.

In Australia, the lease contract process consumes over 90 million pieces of paper every year, leading to the cutting down of more than 9,000 trees annually. SimpleRent recognised this issue and responded by launching its Digital Smart Lease and Contracts, a digital platform for lease contracts and other documents that enables property managers to create, send, and sign leases electronically within just 3 minutes using any device.

In addition, SimpleRent has pledged to donate a tree for every 50 leases created through Digital Smart Lease and Contracts. This means that an average-sized agency could plant around 10 trees annually. By going digital, SimpleRent hopes to encourage others to take similar steps to reduce their environmental impact.
